When drawing male nudes, how do you deal with drawing the penis? I took a figure drawing class a long time ago and the teacher treated it as an optional thing. Recently, a friend of mine is taking classes and her teacher says it is mandatory. What has your instructor said or what is your opinion?

uuuu…h…..i guess it depends on your instructor. at my school we can do whatever we want and since we don’t really do any classical life drawing most folks don’t really draw it unless there’s time? most of the stuff we do are fast gestures so i’d rather focus on other things first, but yeah uh. depends how you work and draw it if you want to i guess. do what is in your heart. draw dat peen. dont be shy.
